How does shipping work?
Once orders are placed, there is a turnaround time of approximately 1-2 weeks before orders are shipped. Shipping is tracked and insured through Canada Post and is a flat-rate of $10 in ON & QC, $15 to the rest of Canada, and shipping to the rest of the world is calculated at checkout. We also offer free local pick-up in Brantford, ON as an option at checkout.
If there is something wrong with your order, please contact us right away at email@example.com. Items are final sale for any issues that are not related to quality or manufacturing.
What high chairs do the cushions work with?
They are designed for the IKEA ANTILOP high chair, but they can be used with multiple high chairs to provide back support, especially in restaurants.
They are also great to bring along to the park for the baby swings or for support in shopping carts, when your little one doesn't quite fill the space in yet!
Why do babies need back support and a footrest on their high chairs?
Babies need to be completely upright and with their core ideally at a 90 degree angle with the seat, and with their knees also ideally at a 90 degree angle, with their feet on a flat, firm surface in order to engage their core to promote safe swallowing and to prevent choking. It also helps children to focus on eating instead of the unstable feeling of dangling legs.
How does the footrest secure and adjust to the high chair?
Four rubber O rings are included with each footrest. The O rings are slip resistant, especially when stacked in twos beneath the footrest, but if you find that the rings are slipping, wipe down your legs first with some rubbing alcohol and that should solve the problem!
